This is an eerie parallel to real life: I’m living in a perfectly nice home where I don’t want to be any longer than I must, and building a dream home in a more barbaric neighborhood to which I want to move as quickly as possible. But I, and those who like visiting from time to time, must be patient with the process.

Yes, I’m moving to Voxtropolis soon. Maybe in the next couple of weeks. The latest feature on Xanga is “Xanga-Lock”– a way to keep non-Xangans from even viewing your site, much less commenting.
No I am not kidding.
That is so completely in the opposite direction from where I am headed, it’s clear now I have to get off the train I’m on and get on this one. Pronto.
I do have a fair number of Xangan subscribers though, so I’ll keep that site too, just as a mirror of the Voxtropolis reality.
